The purpose of the Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the Arts shall be to promote and preserve traditional hand-craft skills and to foster a greater public appreciation of hand-craft skills; to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the area through the presentation of theater productions,to enrich and provide for the study and practice of hand-crafts and other traditional arts to all persons interested in acquiring such skills, to maintain standards of quality, to enhance the public awareness and environmental concerns, and to public knowledge of natural and local history.

The Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the Arts is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit voluntary organization, which is supported by grants from the public sector and contributions from individual foundations and corporations in the private sector. Contributions are tax deductible and may be made to:
