HeARTS
Creative HeARTS is a structured program for individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities, providing an opportunity to work with a variety of artists media and craft materials. Furthering the expression of creativity and encouraging each person to express their creativity in the completion of their projects.
Creative HeARTS is open to persons who are 14 years of age or older and have physical and/or mental limitation.
What Does It Cost?
The cost is $5.00 to $7.00 per class, which is approximately one hour. This fee includes instruction and materials. Aides and others who are assisting students participating in the program are welcome to attend at no charge.

Classes are held April through October Every Wednesday
1:30 - 2:30pm
The classes are held at the Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the Arts, Site #2 on Breezemont Drive, one mile off route 36, between Leeper and Cook Forest State Park.

NOTE: In addition to taking an art class, students may want to spend the rest of the day enjoying Cook Forest State Park. The park offers wheelchair accessible picnic tables, a paved trail, a special fishing pond, and a swimming pool with a lift.
